If you own an AKC registered
pointing breed dog, we welcome you to join our club! We started the
club in August of 2003, so by most standards we are a fairly young club.
The ECPBC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the further advancement
of all pointing breeds. We strive to do this through the education of
breeders, exhibitors, pet owners, and dog lovers. Safe hunting practices are
always of paramount importance to our club, both in practice and education.
The ECPBC also takes aim at protecting and advancing the interests of hunt
tests, field trials, agility trials, tracking, and obedience. Sportsmanlike
conduct at all meetings and events is not only encouraged, but expected.
We hold monthly meetings typically on the third weekend of every month, but
always check the calendar as special events may be scheduled at any time.
Field activities for ECPBC will take place at different sites located between
Ralieigh, NC and the Eastern North Carolina Coast. General membership meeting
are normally held within the greater Goldsboro, NC area.
